I’m alive! I’m alive! I’m alive! I’m alive! I’m alive! I’m alive! I’m alive!
If you keep on saying these words for the next one minute you’ll be shocked by the realization that’ll come out of it. We take it for granted, we actually do! The fact that you’re alive is a testimony on another level. On this day, I was listening to a song and it dawned on my spirit man that I’m alive. After a long period of not posting any article, it dawned on me that I’m alive. Now hear this:
Dead men don’t praise
Dead men don’t worship
Dead men don’t feel
Dead men can’t serve God no matter how badly they wish to. Feel free to add yours (Dead men…)

Again I scream, I’m alive! Do you know you’ve been preoccupied with a whole bunch of stuff that you forget that being alive is a miracle. Take a pause! Stop worrying about what has not yet been done. Hey, you’re alive. Oh! I wish that God reveals to you this mystery. Take a mind look at the mortuary, the graves, your loved ones that have moved to the yonder. What was their lives like? Were they wealthy, poor, influential? Where are they now? Where are you? In the land of the living. This takes me back to the story of the rich man and Lazarus in Luke 16:27-31 Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father’s house: For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment. Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them. And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent. And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.
He didn’t realize the things that he could have done with his money, wealth and opportunity until it was too late. Not to scare you but you’re living your life at its best. Our father is coming back soon. (When someone says Jesus is coming soon) there’s a wide imagination that comes to mind,so let’s paraphrase Our Father is coming soon, are you ready to receive him?
His coming might take a moment or a while. Have you considered; what if I go to meet him sooner than your expectation? One question, did you maximize all he has given you? Or where you carried away that you didn’t remember to put him in the equation. It’s been tough meeting up with weekly posts on the blog, I sincerely apologize for my shortcomings.
It’s been a tough time for all, from the pandemic to the #ENDSARS protest and police brutality to the loss of lives during the movement, to the hike in fuel price and electricity tariff and discovery of Covid-19 palliatives (as at the time of this article I’m still in my country Nigeria). In the end, Take time to relish on being ALIVE in the land of the living. You’ve still got now to do that which Our father has entrusted you with. WELCOME TO A NEW YEAR
